i5 Analyst/Programmer

Cheyenne, Wyoming based nonprofit organization is seeking an i5 Analyst/Programmer. The i5 Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for making recommendations for improving application software and assisting in the development of enhancements to include maintaining applications software by providing analysis of user requirements, writing technical specification, and providing efficient coding, thorough testing and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Completes programming assignments from the IT Manager.
- Confirms requirements of assigned programming projects by studying user requirements and conferring with others on project team.
- Identifies database characteristics and changes database system by coding DDS statements.
- Works within physical database to develop new systems, programs and enhancements by studying project requirements.
- Analyzes and documents database enhancements.
- Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks and/or participating in technical societies.
· **There are additional responsibilities that may be added, as business needs change.
Qualified individuals will have:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent and/or,
· Work experience of 3-5 years in software development using RPGLE; Internet, web design, java, visual basic or similar language experience desirable.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
